Dr. Trey Thompson
Dr. Trey Thompson, originally from Corpus Christi, moved to Katy, Texas in 2001, and joined Dr. Hammond's dental practice in the same year. His primary goal in dentistry is to provide patients with a comfortable atmosphere while maintaining a standard of excellence in their dental care and stimulating their total body health. In addition to his incredible passion for cosmetic and family dentistry, Dr. Thompson is most interested in developing life long relationships with his patients.
Dr. Thompson graduated from Texas A&M University in 1995, with a degree in Bioengineering, and he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001 from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. In his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Thompson became Invisalign certified in 2005, and he loves to straighten teeth without braces! His professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Thompson is married to his wife, Heather (also a dentist), and they have two wonderful young boys, Garrett and Noah. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, snow skiing, and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Thompson and his family attend Grace Fellowship United Methodist Church in Katy.
Dr. Rick Hammond
Dr. Rick Hammond grew up in the small town of Angleton where he first learned the value of relationships, integrity in living, and life long guiding principles that would shape him forever. They are still a priority as evidenced by the long lasting relationships developed with many of you the last 30 years he has been in practice in West Houston.
Dr. Hammond did his undergrad work at Texas A&M (whoop!) and followed that up by graduating from the University of Texas Dental Branch here in Houston near the top of his class in 1978. His professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. Post-graduate work is a vital part of his life, attending continuing education courses throughout the year to further his learning and therefore enabling him to better serve you with the best clinical dentistry and technology.
He is blessed by being happily married to Patti and having the 3 most awesome children in the world: Kaylon is attending Emory Law School in Atlanta, Alex is working in the finance world in Dallas, and his youngest, Hillary, is at Texas A&M (class of 2011) as a pre-vet student. The Hammond family has lived in the Katy area since 1979. Dr. Hammond loves spending time with his family and friends, hunting and fishing, and traveling with Patti. Rick and Patti are very active with their church in Katy as they stay involved in the things that matter most in life.
